About Faith
I am a violin tutor with 7 years of experience, holding a B.Mus in Classical Strings and Violin Performance. My passion for violin comes from its emotional depth and its ability to reconnect people with music at any stage of life. Over the years, I have guided learners returning after breaks, beginners starting fresh, and students seeking renewed confidence in their playing. I believe violin learning should feel supportive, patient, and deeply encouraging.
My teaching style emphasizes gentle technique rebuilding, tone development, and confidence restoration. I help students regain comfort through structured warm-ups, relaxed practice strategies, and emotional encouragement. Lessons are always adapted to the learner’s pace, ensuring progress feels steady and reassuring. Mistakes are treated as part of growth, and every small improvement is celebrated.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with violin through performance study, repertoire exploration, and pedagogy development. Teaching is fulfilling because I see students rediscover their musical voice. My goal is to help learners feel confident, connected, and proud of their violin journey, no matter where they begin again.

Violin learning becomes especially meaningful when students feel supported through patience and gentle rebuilding. In my lessons, I specialize in helping learners reconnect with music after time away, guiding them step by step toward confidence restoration. Sessions focus on relaxed posture, tension awareness, open-string warm-ups, and slow scale practice that feels meditative rather than stressful. I create a reassuring environment where students can return to the violin without pressure or self-doubt. Each lesson encourages steady progress, emotional comfort, and renewed motivation.
Lessons are carefully adapted to each learner’s stage. Beginners work on bow hold, intonation basics, simple rhythms, and comfortable tone production. Returning students rebuild foundational technique through slow practice, tone refinement, and confidence-building exercises. Intermediate learners strengthen shifting, vibrato development, phrasing clarity, and performance memory. Advanced students refine musical interpretation, stage readiness, and expressive depth. I also help students manage performance anxiety through calm preparation strategies.
Violin study builds more than musical skill. Students regain confidence, emotional connection, and personal pride through consistent progress.
