About Sean
I am a music teacher who has been teaching violin for 5 years. I specialise in teaching AMEB grades preliminary and to grade 5. I am also highly experienced in teaching the violin to students who have never played the violin before. I began violin at the age of 7 and have 14 years of experience learning to play the violin. I have studied music at the Victorian College of the Arts. In my free time I enjoy tennis and table tennis.

I provide high quality musical instruction to students aged 5- 18 years of age. I plan out each lesson with an aim to teach specific skills. I build upon the students skills each lesson to achieve a larger goal. This goal is often a performance. Lessons are typically 30 mins- 1 hour. I test my students knowledge by asking questions and then evaluating the weaknesses of each student.
I teach my students to use their ears and listen to the sound. I emphasise this point and teach them to make adjustments based on what they hear.
