Penny is a classically training violinist with a diverse set of musical skills including theory and musicianship, piano, cello and violin. She is well versed in both peripatetic and private teaching. She has a friendly outgoing personality and conducts herself professionally with all age groups.

Penny’s approach to teaching violin includes the perfect balance of professionalism, dedication, friendliness, understanding and musicality. She caters to each of her students individual strengths and weaknesses and provides continuous, unwavering support through thick and thin. She is extremely flexible when it comes to teaching in person or online, which in this day and age is very useful and means that learning can continue despite impending restrictions/lockdowns. Age and ability are of no consequence to Penny, she will structure her lessons to suit and reflect the age and ability of each student. Her warm personality and commitment to her students are perhaps some of her best traits, not to mention her talent when it comes to playing the violin and music!
