About Greer
My fascination with violin began through admiration for orchestral music and emotional storytelling through performance. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in String Performance and Music Education, where I explored violin techniques, ensemble coordination, and artistic interpretation in depth. During the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different musical backgrounds, helping them strengthen confidence and musical understanding.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to each student’s strengths and artistic interests. My approach focuses on encouragement, patience, and structured guidance to help students improve naturally without unnecessary pressure. Some learners improve through repetition and technical discipline, while others gain confidence through creative exploration and performance opportunities. I carefully design lessons to create a positive and motivating musical environment.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chamber music, orchestral concerts, and educational resources to keep my lessons fresh and engaging. Staying connected to music allows me to bring creativity and practical understanding into every class. My goal is to help students become confident violinists who enjoy expressing themselves through music while continuing to develop artistically.

My violin lessons focus on helping students improve technical ability while building confidence through structured and enjoyable musical learning. I teach posture correction, bow control, finger placement, rhythm training, scales, note reading, tone development, and expressive interpretation using clear and patient instruction. Lessons are designed to help students understand musical phrasing naturally instead of repeating movements mechanically. I create a welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.
Each lesson is adapted according to the learner’s experience level, musical interests, and pace of understanding. Beginners receive support with bow movement, posture alignment, and simple melodies, while advanced learners strengthen vibrato, expressive phrasing, and performance confidence. I include technical studies, listening exercises, ensemble preparation, and recital coaching to support balanced artistic growth. Students preparing for performances receive focused guidance for stage readiness and musical confidence.
I believe violin learning becomes more meaningful when students combine discipline with emotional connection to music. My lessons help students overcome nervousness and replace it with confidence through supportive instruction and practical guidance. Many learners gradually become more expressive and technically skilled musicians over time. My goal is to help students enjoy learning violin while developing strong artistic ability.
