About Valerie
My journey with violin began through a strong passion for orchestral music and expressive sound. This inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance, where I studied technique, interpretation, and ensemble playing in depth. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students develop strong musical foundations and performance confidence.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching approach to match individual needs. My style is patient, structured, and supportive, helping learners progress without pressure. Some students improve through technical repetition, while others grow through listening and musical exploration. I adapt lessons to ensure steady and comfortable improvement.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring classical repertoire, chamber music, and orchestral works to stay connected with performance practice. This allows me to bring real musical insight into lessons. My goal is to help students not only play correctly but also express emotion through music. Supporting their artistic growth is the most fulfilling part of my teaching journey.

My violin lessons focus on helping students build strong technical control while developing expressive musical ability. I teach bowing technique, finger placement, intonation training, vibrato, rhythm stability, tone production, and phrasing in a clear and structured way. Lessons are designed to help students understand how technique supports musical expression instead of relying only on repetitive drills. I create a calm environment where learners feel supported and can improve step by step.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s level, goals, and musical interests. Beginners receive guidance on posture, open-string practice, basic note reading, and simple melodies, while advanced learners focus on expressive interpretation, technical fluency, and performance preparation. I include scales, duet practice, listening activities, and stage training to build confidence. Students preparing for performances or exams receive focused support for accuracy and emotional expression.
I believe violin becomes more meaningful when students feel emotionally connected to their music. My lessons help replace uncertainty with confidence through structured practice and patient guidance. Many learners gradually become more expressive and controlled as they progress. My goal is to help students grow into confident musicians who enjoy both learning and performing.
