About Connor
I'm a violinist with a B.A. in political science and minor in Music. I performed at Benaroya Hall and the Kennedy Center in D.C. with the CWU Symphony. I have ample solo, ensemble, and symphonic performance experience. I have performed many works written by renowned classical composers such as Brahms, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Handel, Strauss, Paganini, and more.

I use the system that my first teacher Teo Tetel used. We explore classic violin texts and work on technique alongside the student's increased capability for reading the music and understanding notation. I typically use a hands off approach and give small attainable goals for each lesson so the student isn't overwhelmed. The violin can be frustrating but I do a good job with keeping the situation light and enjoyable, not stressful.
