About Madison
I am a recent graduate from UCI where I majored in biological science. I've had a passion for science that started early in my academic career as the president of my middle school's science club. I know science can be confusing and seem boring at times but it has a lot of relevance in the lives of individuals. Through my teaching, I strive to always make the lessons clear, interesting, and relatable to ensure that students remember the important things. I have three years of experience teaching students after school in grades 4-6.

I like to provide a hands-on approach for students. Generally if involved in active learning they grasp the materials better and remember what they learn. I like to start out with a general topic overview and then address specific areas of misunderstanding/confusion and importance for their specific courses.
