I am motivated to help young people succeed with their educational goals. I am also passionate about learning, the English language, Humanities and the controversies in the media. I am passionate about teaching and learning, always looking for new ways to improve my craft.

I have tutored and taught secondary English and Humanities students since 2015. I aim to scaffold my teaching to support, extend and challenge my students to achieve their academic goals.
I work at Sandringham College full-time and I am looking to tutor more students casually.
In a typical lesson, I help students improve their writing focusing on grammar, punctuation, spelling and structure.
I help students prepare by targeting their study of texts on key themes, ideas, characters and settings. I help students to analyse language, persuasive techniques and media bias. I am also working on helping students develop their confidence to write creatively under exam pressure.
I draw heavily upon the knowledge and resources I have acquired from teaching to support students at their point of need.
