About Emily
I have experience as both a soloist and choral singer. I am currently a member of Bristol Choral Society. In incarnations past, I have sung in St Matthew's Church Choir as Head Chorister and Northamptonshire County Youth Choir whilst gaining my Grade 8 in singing. In more recent years, I have sung for various vocal ensembles at the University of Winchester, The Waynflete Singers, Winchester as well as the Pimlico Voices at St. Gabriel's Church in Pimlico, London and for the nomadic Howell's Voices. I have performed in various prestigious venues across the UK, including but not limited to Northampton's Derngate Theatre, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Winchester Cathedral, York Minster, Truro Cathedral and Colston Hall. In terms of solo work, I was frequently soloist at St, Matthew's, sung Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque and Alleluia for Northamptonshire County Youth Choir, was Soprano soloist for Duruflé Requiem with Northampton Chamber Choir, sung The Lotus Eaters by Parry and for Schubert's Agnus Dei in his Mass in G for Clevedon Choral Society, Bristol. I did a variety of performances of many genres for my Vocal and Choral Studies degree, including a cabaret performance in my second year (devised by my group) and a musical in my third year (Theory of Relativity by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill).

I am a singing teacher with a background of choral and solo singing, moving to a degree focusing on many aspects of vocal use. This includes, but is not limited to Singing, vocal performance, ensemble work, vocal anatomy and physiology and the theory of voice.
