About Quana

Professional vocalist, musician, songwriter, and recording artist with 15+ years experience.

8 years with Ramira, Denver-based music duo with husband and multi-instrumentalist Michael Sherman.

Toured with Extreme Tour 2023.

Performed at Rockin' 1000 in Portugal, 2024.

Streaming recording artists with current releases on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube Music.

Online presence on Insta, TikTok, and the web.

Background in vocal performance-live and in studio, lead and background vocals, touring, band management, stage performance, songwriting and arranging, and acoustic guitar performance.

Teaching methods are based on an immersive, experiential approach rather than theory. The student learns through practice-with focus on ear, voice placement, breath, attitude, mirror work, and connecting with an audience.

My role is to help students trust their own natural gifts and inspire them to let their light shine through singing!

I love to cook and am an avid vegetarian/vegan foodie!

About the lesson

Teaching Method-
Immersive, relatable approach, encouraging the student to tap into organic techniques for an actual experience of hearing, feeling, and expressing their own voice. I guide the student to connect to and focus on the excitement of singing, letting stage fright fade away!

Typical Lesson Plan-

5-10 minute warm-up
Discussion of student song of choice
Detailed practice of song
Focus on pitch, ear, expression, placement,
Presence with mirror work
Acoustic practice using room, ear, or microphone
