About Ivy
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Arts and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with singers of different ages and backgrounds, helping them improve technique and develop confidence. My love for singing began through performance opportunities, ensemble work, and years of vocal study. Teaching allows me to combine artistic passion with meaningful mentorship. Helping students discover their unique voices remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
My teaching style emphasizes encouragement, patience, and adaptability. Every voice is different, so lessons are tailored to individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Technical training is balanced with artistic exploration so that students understand how to use their skills creatively. Learners receive supportive guidance that promotes long-term growth and confidence. This creates a welcoming and productive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy attending performances, studying vocal traditions, and exploring music from different cultures. These experiences inspire my lessons and help keep learning fresh and engaging. Watching students achieve milestones they once considered difficult is deeply satisfying. I strive to make every lesson motivating and effective. My goal is to help learners build confidence and joy through singing.

My singing lessons focus on helping students build a strong and expressive voice in a supportive environment. Learners develop breath control, resonance, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, articulation, phrasing, and performance skills through carefully planned exercises and musical activities. I believe singing becomes most rewarding when technical development and artistic expression grow together. Lessons encourage students to understand their voices while exploring the emotional and creative side of music. This creates lasting confidence and meaningful progress.
Every student receives personalized instruction based on individual goals and musical interests. Activities may include interpretation work, vocal flexibility exercises, confidence-building performance practice, breath-awareness training, and expressive storytelling through song. Students who want to feel more comfortable performing receive guidance that helps them overcome hesitation and develop stage confidence. Regular feedback supports steady improvement while maintaining motivation. This individualized approach allows learners to grow at a pace that suits them.
My goal is to help students feel confident using their voices to communicate and express themselves. As skills improve, learners become more comfortable exploring different styles and sharing their music with others. Lessons encourage creativity, persistence, and self-awareness. Every achievement contributes to stronger vocal ability and personal confidence. I want students to enjoy every stage of their development as singers.
