About Júlia
I started working as a language teacher in 2011 at a large school, and during that time I noticed a few things about the applied methodology and ways of learning of different students. Interesting as they may be, very standardized teaching methods turn out to be fruitless and frustrating for most students. From these observations and from my own experience as a language student, I realized that learning flows and evolves significantly better as it develops into a real exchange between teacher and student. In order for this exchange to take place, teaching must take into account the particularities and interests of each student, their relationship with their language, their personal barriers and their powers. Therefore, when I started to give private lessons I decided to do a more attentive and personalized work, tailored to the needs of each student. It works like this: We set up a first free and free appointment for us to meet and talk a little about your relationship with the language and about your interests and expectations regarding the course. This meeting also serves to allow me to assess your level in the language. From this first conversation, if you want to continue, I begin to build a personalized course plan - with material made available class by class - focused on the content and formats that make the most sense to you. Thus, the course is under constant construction, taking into account spontaneous demands that arise throughout the learning and adapting to the needs of each moment.

I have been working with languages since 2010 but I have always been fascinated by language and different languages. For now I am trilingual but I am studying my fourth language, Italian. My first experience as a teacher was in a large school, such a standardized teaching method, and it was a very interesting and important experience to bring me to the point where I am now. I currently work with private and personalized classes, adapting teaching methods and content to the interests and needs of each student. In parallel, I study learning processes and different teaching methods, constantly expanding my repertoire. I also seek to maintain an open channel of communication with students so that we can always exchange and build the course collectively.
