About Sujin
Hello! I’m Sujin, a friendly Korean tutor currently living in Brisbane, Australia. I’ve worked at an international graduate school in Korea and now at a college in Brisbane, where I provide student support and enjoy communicating with people from all over the world. These experiences taught me how exciting it is to share languages and cultures! I’m passionate about helping students build their Korean skills gradually and confidently in a comfortable and encouraging environment. With my experience teaching exchange students and international friends in my university days, I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and I’ll support you with patience, clear explanations, and positive energy. Perfect! Had my first session with Sujin today and she's an awesome Korean tutor.
She strikes a great balance between being patient and genuinely pushing you to improve, never making you feel self-conscious about mistakes, while still holding you to a high standard on pronunciation. Her explanations of grammar make sense without getting bogged down in linguistics jargon.
She's punctual, well-prepared, warm, and genuinely invested in her students' progress.

Perfect! Sujin is the perfect person to be teaching. Patient, enthusiastic, attentive, knowledgeable, professional. She carefully preps before each lesson and explains things in english. This enables each lesson to be structured and set at a pace that is comfortable for the student.
She was keen to understand my motivations, goals and preferences and adjust accordingly. Sujin provides gentle pushing to encourage learning without leaving you discouraged or frustrated.
