About Bonnie

I am an English Second Language Teacher (MS in Education) and private tutor at Harper College in the Chicago suburbs. I want to help you (my student) achieve your goals in natural, casual speaking and conversation! I have taught all levels (Basic to Advanced) in Reading, Writing, Pronunciation, Conversation, Listening, and Vocabulary! My students are from every country (and career) in the world. I know you want to feel very confident when you speak real English in social, life, and business situations! In 31 years of ESL teaching I've helped so many people speak fluently, finish certificates, and pronounce much better! Class is enjoyable because the lessons are bright and fun!.....we will have a great "working relation" together! ( I also speak fluent Spanish and perform as a professional pianist!). It will be wonderful to meet you!

About the lesson

Students have always loved my classes for a few reasons.
- My classes are always fun and interesting (not boring!)
- Your classes will be EXACTLY what you want and very USEFUL. Please let me know what is important to you and customize every lesson!
- I understand why students make mistakes...we will work on the basics you need first! We may need to review.
- I always respect you as my student and a person.
- You have a special goal....let's work together to achieve this.
- Lessons are very organized, but our conversations are NATURAL.
- I can share the best texts and materials with you!
- We will start the lesson with pronunciation, then focus on your lesson goal.
- I welcome your questions about something confusing or how to say or pronounce something! That is my job!
- Most important: I want you to feel so comfortable when you talk in English to people so we will speak a lot!

I have students in all careers...doctors, workers, college students, nurses, full-time mothers, chefs, nannies, business people, importers, teachers,.....whatever your profession, you will IMPROVE SO MUCH! I promise!

Bonnie's response
Remember...you are already so fluent and easys to understand, Gantuya. Your basic personality may be "introverted" or shy, but your English should neveeer stop your conversations! Remember...2 weeks or so....contact me, and we'll pick up on shades of vocabulary, some pronunciation, casual conversation practices in different situations! Be well!
