About William
Having studied the subject at A-Level I went on to study History of Art at Warwick university where I gained an upper second class honours. I have since worked as a paralegal for three years before becoming an events organiser for two years and am returning to world of teaching in these turbulent times.
I have one year of experience teaching Edexcel Level 1/2 GCSE English. I am set to learn as much as my pupils from these first few lessons and have taken this into consideration in my fee.
Although meeting the assessment objectives of a curriculum and achieving the best possible grades are my primary focus I am a firm believer that understanding the importance of the English language in commerce, the arts and public service will set pupils apart from their peers.

My methodology focusses on understanding what my pupils' needs are, to teach and refine their study habits, and lead them to excel in their exams and coursework.
I achieved a top mark in English A-Level, despite finding the subject challenging, and I believe everyone should understand that they can do the same whatever their background.
I was privately educated and believe that investing in your education is the most important investment you can make.
