About Thomas
I am a Mathematics and Physics undergraduate student at the University of Warwick with a passion for helping students build confidence in subjects such as Maths and Physics that are often seen as challenging. Through tutoring primary school students online and supporting GCSE Maths students, I have learnt that the right explanation can transform confusion into understanding. I tailor my teaching to each student's learning style, creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent exam results but also to develop the confidence and independent thinking that will benefit them long after the exam.

My lessons focus on building a strong foundation by breaking down complex Maths and Physics concepts into manageable steps before progressing to more challenging problems. I adapt my teaching style to each student, using regular questioning and retrieval practice to build both understanding and confidence. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and will include explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and eventually exam-style questions. I am a Mathematics and Physics student at the University of Warwick with experience tutoring primary school students online and supporting GCSE Maths students. My lessons are suitable for primary, GCSE and A-Level students looking to improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance in Maths and Physics.
