About Glend
I was born in Costa Rica and moved to the U.S. when I was ten years old. For many Central Americans, moving to the U.S. is a dream come true, offering unmatched opportunities and freedoms. I proudly served in the Navy and am now pursuing a career in medicine. I believe Central Americans are intelligent, dignified people who will play a significant role in contributing to the success of America's diverse melting pot. My mission is to bring blessings to others through my knowledge of preventative medicine. I am passionate about teaching that understanding nutrition and physical health is both achievable and vital for everyone. Through these disciplines, people can find empowerment and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. I have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a minor in Psychology, and hold two associate degrees in Biology and Liberal Arts. I am committed to creating a healthy, ethical, and impactful platform to guide others in their pursuit of health and wellness.

Watching videos and explaining concepts in a way that makes them relatable is my specialty, ensuring that the material resonates with you. Each lesson is flexible and tailored to your needs, whether it's preparing for essays, practicing multiple-choice questions, or reviewing specific material. I encourage open communication, so feel free to text or call me whenever you need clarification or help. We can set up a time to go over the material together and ensure that you’re progressing at a pace that works for you. Additionally, I offer the flexibility for you to preview what we’ll cover ahead of time, allowing for a more focused and customized learning experience. My goal is to work with you collaboratively, creating an environment where you feel comfortable and empowered to learn Spanish at your own pace.
