About Anton
As a Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, I bring over four years of dedicated tutoring experience, during which I’ve had the privilege of working with more than 30 students across a range of subjects, including Math, Chemistry, and Physics. Whether teaching online or in-person in Vaughan, my approach is always personalized and student-centered. I take pride in adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style, ensuring they not only understand the material but also gain the confidence to apply it independently. My goal has always been to put my students first. I believe that every student has untapped potential, and my mission as a tutor is to help them unlock it. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. I measure my success not just by grades, but by the sense of accomplishment and enthusiasm my students develop along the way. Beyond one-on-one tutoring, I’ve demonstrated my commitment to mentorship and education through leadership roles. In high school, I served as president of the robotics team, leading over 60 students across multiple teams and mentoring many of them personally in programming, mechanical design, and strategy. Under my leadership, we achieved multiple awards, and I took particular pride in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Additionally, I was a mentor for my school’s Math Club, where I helped organize workshops and coaching sessions, preparing students for math contests and fostering a passion for problem-solving. Guiding younger students and watching them develop confidence in their abilities has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my experience as a mentor. Today, I continue this passion for teaching and mentoring through tutoring. I am committed to helping each of my students reach their full potential by providing clear explanations, patience, and strategies that empower them to become independent learners. Whether the goal is to boost grades, prepare for standardized tests, or simply build a stronger foundation in STEM subjects, I am here to support and guide my students every step of the way.

My teaching approach is centered around each student’s unique needs and learning style. I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all method—instead, I take the time to understand how each student learns best and tailor every lesson to fit them. Whether they need clear step-by-step explanations, visual aids, or real-world examples, I adapt to make complex concepts accessible and engaging.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in to address any immediate questions or concerns. We then review key concepts to ensure understanding before moving on to guided practice, where I work through problems with the student and help them build problem-solving strategies. As they gain confidence, they take the lead, applying what they’ve learned to more challenging questions. We end each session by reviewing progress, setting goals, and assigning practice tailored to their specific needs.
My goal isn’t just to improve grades—it’s to help students develop confidence, independence, and a genuine understanding of the material. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think critically. Whether you’re aiming to excel or need help catching up, I’m committed to helping you succeed.
