About Marianna
My name is Marianna and I am a native Greek speaker. I was raised in metropolitan city of Athens and the beautiful island of Santorini. My passion is my volunteer work in public education addressing the needs of my community and improving people’s lives. I have been a tutor for over a decade, assisting people at all stages of life and for a time specializing in children’s education ages 6 to 15. I have learned English, French, Romanian and Indonesian so I understand both the challenges and joys of learning a language. Greek is a beautiful language that is well worth the effort and I am excited to guide you as you achieve your goals! Whether you want to learn basic grammar and vocabulary for vacation, pursue a more advanced knowledge of the language for professional use or wish to learn a language to keep your mind sharp you have come to the right place. Our lessons will be tailored to your specific situation but generally we will learn with immersion in practice conversations and begin and end with a review to reinforce what you’ve learned. As you learn Greek with me you will find that I am patient and committed to my student’s progress. We will build your confidence and fluency speaking Greek to address your specific needs so you can grow and thrive in your endeavors.
