About Theyuri
I am an honours student in the Department of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. I earned my BSc in Biological Sciences with majors in Microbiology & Biotechnology and Human Physiology. I am an outgoing and eager problem-solving individual. My patience and desire to help students achieve their dreams make me an ideal candidate for tutoring. Currently, I tutor students in English, Maths, Physical Sciences, and Life Scienes/Biology, which I am keen to continue. I chose to work part-time as a tutor because I remember needing help with certain subjects while in school. Tutors played a crucial role in helping me achieve my desired results, and I hope to do the same for other students

My route to teaching English would follow a hands on approach. I would prefer to explain to the student how to answer questions and how to study what they struggle with- followed by them practicing what they’ve learnt.
I hope that the student would grasp concepts with my creative approaches.
