About Akua
I’m Akua Emmanuells, a passionate tutor helping students succeed in KS3 and GCSE subjects. I love maths, science, and logic, and I enjoy making tricky topics simple and fun. My tutoring style is professional, structured, and results-focused—I aim to help every student understand, gain confidence, and improve their grades. I’m experienced in helping peers and students with exam prep, homework, and problem-solving skills. I also offer free trial sessions so students and parents can see my teaching style before committing.

I focus on making learning clear, structured, and enjoyable. I break down difficult topics into simple, understandable steps, using examples, practice exercises, and interactive problem-solving. I like to mix explanation with hands-on work so students don’t just memorise—they truly understand.
