About Maggie

On top of lived experience as a gender non conforming person, as well as a queer person - I have done extensive research and learning in the areas of personal identity. I am currently pursuing a degree in Child and Youth Care at Ryerson University, where I have had the opportunity to learn from some brilliant people, as well as teach people about these issues through workshops and speeches.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to very open minded, and to create a safe space for students to be able to express themselves as well as to make mistakes without fear of judgment. I use a variety of techniques for learning, including visual prompts, conversation, supplementary reading, and application scenarios. Let me know how you learn best!
