About Karen
I am an accredited and certified Wellness and Yoga coach. I assist with techniques to manage stress caused by: ~life transitions. Youth Aging Trauma Loss Relationship breakups Divorce ~Emotional and mental challenges. Depression Anxiety Anger Relationships Domestic violence and others. ~Physical Wellness challenges Improve flexibility and balance Optimal nutrition Healthy weight maintenance Cardiac health and fitness The client does the work of change, I merely enable her using SCIENCE BASED, practical, SELF HELP techniques which can lead to Transformation. I am NOT a Therapist and I do NOT diagnose or treat Mental, Emotional or Physical disorders. I AM a Registered Professional Nursing Sister and I do have personal experience in transitions and health challenges. Furthermore, I practice " life long learning" and use most of the below myself. All the techniques I coach and guide are strongly backed by Scientific Research Studies. TYPES OF TECHNIQUES 1. Dialectical Behavior 2. Rational Behavior 3. Trauma release therapy 4. You are given applicable resources and worksheets for self-enrichment. With each session you are guided to question your motivations and responses and to set "smart" goals. You will learn to take responsibility for where you are and where you identify you need to be. In this respect, Self-love and Self-acceptance is the overriding theme during each session. Coaching sessions are one on one or face to face. Each session is specifically designed for YOU! Together we identify any health issues in the Six Dimensions: Emotional, Occupational, Physical, Social, Mental and Spiritual. We then establish where you would instead like to be and agree about which of many scientifically proven self-help techniques and or styles of yoga and or meditation may help you reach your TOTAL wellness goals. Ongoing sessions will be about guiding and coaching you to reach these goals. A 6 SESSION PACKAGE WILL BE DISCOUNTED TO R840.00 = a R240.00 SAVING (1hr sessions) ALL PAYMENT DUE IN ADVANCE
