About Will
I studied computer science and songwriting at USC. Post-college, I decided to chase my dream of being a musician. My solo project is called wilter, and I tour as a professional musician in a country band. I've been playing guitar for 15 years and creating my own music for 10, and I'd be happy to share what I've learned along the way with any aspiring artist!

I strongly believe that if you are not having fun and playing stuff you like on the guitar it is impossible to learn. I focus on teaching students how to play their favorite songs and showing them different cool tunings and techniques so they can learn to love guitar.
If you want to start writing songs or even start recording I'm happy to teach that too! There are a lot of fun prompts and songwriting challenges that can help get the creative juices flowing. For recording I can help get you set up with what you need to record and the basics of mic placement and recording workflows. Happy to even teach more in depth production techniques and tools if we get there too!
