About Kate
Hi! My name is Kate, and I am a student at the Boston University College of Fine Arts. I once went through the torture that is making a portfolio ready for submission to an art school, and know how stressful it can be. Having made it to the other side, I would be more than happy to make this journey as stress-free as possible for my students. I have years of experience in both traditional and digital mediums, and would be thrilled to help other talented artists with their journeys! My own portfolio included everything from acrylic paintings, watercolor painting, sculpture, still life drawings using charcoal/pencil, ink drawings, and more. Can guide comprehensively through the final stages of polishing a portfolio.

Can meet in person while home on breaks (NJ, north Bergen County Area) or online. Will help build a solid plan for creating a portfolio based on where you will be applying (how many pieces, what mediums, and more). Will work closely with my students to produce high-quality pieces, and provide insights related to admissions and artistic skills. Will help my students curate a final version of the portfolio that is bursting with skill, personality, and uniqueness. Will help edit final pictures of work, and can assist on any written prompt relating to the portfolio
