About Avela
I am Avela Tandokazi Mda from South Africa. My middle name Tandokazi was given to me by my father and it means 'Great Love'.
(that's a fun fact about me). I might have studied Accounting at University but teaching is in my blood. I was fortunate enough to have had a great teacher who saw my potential, built my confidence and encouraged me to excel in all my subjects. I passed high school with distinction as a result. I want to be a similar influence on my students. I think teaching will be a rewarding experience for me.
