About Ting
Hello, my name is Ting Zhu, or you can call me Esther. I come from China, and now I am studying psychology at Tulane University. I have stayed here for almost 1 year. I am a very energetic person, so my class will not make students feel bored. I also have many hobbies, especially surfing the Internet. I will also integrate many popular memes into my classes to make my classes more lively and interesting and help students better master knowledge. I have some informal teaching experience, for example my friends are bad at math, so every time before the exam, I will help them to review the tested section, also I always help them to solve the questions in homework, to help them fully master the knowledge. Besides the math teaching, I also help friends to master the psychology knowledge. Based on my meager teaching experience, I realize that patience is the most important part of teaching, so I will be very patient in teaching. Although, I do not have any Chinese teaching experience, I believe I will try my best to be a patient interested Chinese teacher. And I think as a Chinese native speaker is a strong advantage for teaching Chinese. If I succeed in becoming a Chinese teacher, I will do my best to make my students love Chinese and master it effectively.
