About Phil
I trained my first neural network in 1992 and then went on to get an MPhil in AI from Sussex University. I was then drawn into more generic web and software development where I have worked for many years. More recently I've also been doing computational art and music. I've been a Python developer for over 20 years. I've taught various courses on software development at university level, to undergraduate computer scientists. I've run workshops and meetups in computer arts, functional programming and using AI. I am not the expert in every new technology or framework. There are simply too many. But I have been studying and working with a number of recent technologies such as LangChain, AutoGen, Cursor, Model-Context Protocol and the OpenAI API.

You can now take one of hundreds of new online courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. But sometimes you need to speak to a real human being to help better your understanding or to get advice on some of the exercises. For this reason I'm offering "AI Wingman" tutoring. These are one-to-one, in-person sessions for people who are taking an online course in AI/ML. In the sessions we can discuss whatever material you are studying. Or look at any of the exercises you are struggling with. I won't do your homework for you, but I can help with guidance, intuitions and practical advice, to help you achieve your own mastery of the material.
