About Thea
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature and have taught Spanish for over six years. My teaching experience includes both individual tutoring and group sessions, giving me the ability to adapt my instruction style to different learning environments and student needs. My goal as a tutor is to create a relaxed and supportive space where students feel encouraged to speak and grow. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals—whether it’s travel, school, or professional use—so learning always feels relevant, achievable, and enjoyable. Beyond teaching, I’ve studied abroad in Spain and immersed myself in Latin American culture. These real-world experiences help me bring cultural richness into lessons, making the language feel alive. I believe language learning thrives when students connect meaningfully with both the words and the people behind them.

We engage with authentic Spanish materials like news articles, literature excerpts, and interviews. Sessions are designed to build confidence in public speaking, academic writing, and advanced listening through structured yet creative learning strategies.
