About Rabia
I have extensive experience teaching various modules in these areas in both universities in Pakistan and England. My academic journey culminated in the attainment of Masters degrees in English Literature and Education with TESOL (Trinity Certified). Additionally, I have extensive experience in conducting research on various topics related to TESOL and South Asian literature, as well as successfully writing grant proposals in the field of education which led me to secure US government-funded projects for advancing the field of English language teaching and learning.

My approach to tutoring is based on the following principles:
- Personalization: I tailor each lesson to the specific needs, goals and learning styles of each student. I use a variety of materials and activities to keep the lessons engaging and relevant.
- Feedback: I provide constructive and timely feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence. I also encourage students to ask questions and share their opinions during the lessons.
- Progress: I monitor and track the progress of each student using various assessment tools and methods. I adjust the pace and difficulty of the lessons accordingly to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
A typical lesson with me lasts for 60 minutes and consists of the following components:
- Review: We start by reviewing the previous lesson's content and homework. We also discuss any difficulties or questions that the student may have encountered.
- Presentation: I introduce the new topic or skill using clear explanations, examples and demonstrations. I use visual aids, such as slides, charts or diagrams, to enhance understanding.
- Practice: We practice the new topic or skill using various exercises and activities. I provide guidance and support as needed. I also correct any errors and explain any misunderstandings.
- Production: We apply the new topic or skill to a realistic or creative task, such as a conversation, a role-play, a writing assignment or a project. I encourage the student to use their own ideas and express themselves freely.
- Summary: We end by summarizing the main points and objectives of the lesson. We also review the homework assignment and set goals for the next lesson.
My lessons are suitable for anyone who wants to learn or improve their English skills, whether for academic, professional or personal purposes. I can teach students of any age, from children to adults. However, I specialize in teaching intermediate to advanced learners who want to achieve fluency and accuracy in English.
