About Kim
I’ve utilized my 30 years of teaching experience to work individually, in a small group, or in a whole group setting with a richly diverse student population to determine student strengths and areas for academic/personal growth. Collaboration between parents and myself is vital to monitor and report student progress, educational successes and concerns to improve student performance. I also feel it is of great importance to foster a love of learning in a positive classroom climate and nurturing classroom setting to ensure my students feel valued, loved, and respected. Likewise, I also strive daily to implement stimulating, exciting, multi-sensory lessons and assignments to allow children to experience success while utilizing their strongest learning modality. I pride myself on working to build enduring relationships with both students and parents to involve all families in the educational process.
