With over 5 years of experience teaching both in-person and online, I bring a thoughtful and supportive approach to every piano lesson. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, and I’m passionate about sharing the richness of music with students of all levels. My teaching philosophy centers on active participation, clear musical intent, and developing well-rounded musicianship. My piano teaching approach blends structure with creativity to build confident and expressive musicians. I focus on core skills like sight reading, technique, and musical understanding right from the beginning. For students preparing for exams or classical performances, I create a clear path with carefully chosen repertoire, theory support, and targeted practice routines.
I believe music should feel engaging, so I include improvisation and ear training to spark curiosity and build deeper connections. Progress tracking is a key part of my lessons—I help students set clear goals and celebrate their achievements along the way. I also use virtual piano apps and metronomes to make practice more accurate and interactive. These tools help with timing, note reading, and staying motivated.
