About Myra
I’m a math tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematical Sciences, and I love helping students see calculus in a clear and practical way. I focus on making derivatives, integrals, and limits feel less intimidating by breaking them down into simple, meaningful steps. My lessons often include interactive graphs and visual tools that show how calculus describes motion, growth, and change in the world around us. I enjoy working with university learners who want to strengthen their analytical skills. Many of my students come from STEM fields, and I help them apply math confidently in engineering, computing, and physical sciences. My teaching approach in computer programming is built on helping learners understand the logic behind every decision a program makes. I focus on core subjects like algorithms, data structures, discrete math for computing, and computational reasoning. I also bring in concepts from theory, such as automata and basic complexity ideas, so students see how programming connects to deeper structures.
