About Ciara
I work as an Irish (and German/Biology) exam corrector for a Dublin grind school.
I achieved 99% in my Irish Leaving Certificate paper, (HL) and 100% in my Irish LC oral.
Irish is a passion of mine. It was my favorite subject during my Leaving Cert years, I was nominated as Irish student of the year,and I continue to use it to this day.
It's my favorite language to teach and something I really enjoy learning about and practicing!
I understand that Irish is often not taught well which can lead to a lot of unneeded stress. I personally really struggled learning Irish, and I know what it feels like to feel hopeless or lost when learning it. I'm here to fix that, improve your confidence, fluency and teach you everything you need to know to be (and feel) prepared.
Because I’ve gone through the exam system myself, I understand exactly what students struggle with, especially when it comes to the Oral. That experience allows me to guide students in a practical, realistic way that builds both skill and confidence.
I hope to encourage people to take pride in the languages that they speak and enjoy learning them.

She’s absolutely amazing as a person and as a teacher too! Honestly my language skills aren’t that great, but since I’ve been studying Spanish with Chiara, my understanding, grammar and speaking skills have improved so much. I’m really glad that I found her. Luckily she expects to be prepared for the lessons which is a must really, but she’s not strict at all. I believe this is the perfect combination to have a good environment and find confidence in speaking without being afraid of failure. 100% recommended
