About Joe
Award-winning American Harmonica Virtuoso Joe Powers has been a global talent for over 20 years, performing more than 1000 concerts in North America, Latin America, Europe, the UK, Asia and the Middle East. He won a Belgian Crystal Harmonica Award and took fourth place at the World Harmonica Championship in Germany. He is a harmonica ambassador at masterclasses and events around the world. Joe is a patient and encouraging teacher with 25+ years of experience and a degree in Music Composition. He teaches all levels and ages, specializing in diatonic (10-hole) and chromatic (button) harmonicas.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s needs for efficient learning. Joe helps BEGINNERS learn quickly while avoiding bad habits, INTERMEDIATE players overcome learning plateaus, and ADVANCED players refine their skills.
Classes include technical guidance, custom exercises, and clear goals to accelerate progress. Music theory is integrated to build a strong foundation for exploring any genre.
