About David
I have been teaching in various contexts for 20 years, most recently AP and dual credit high school courses. Many of my students have gone on to top-tier colleges and graduate programs, though that is not entirely my doing, but theirs and fellow teachers. My passions are world literature, philosophy, and the wide world around us.

It is my passion for literature, current events, philosophy, and rhetoric that forms the basis of my teaching, along with my ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to young people. But above all, guiding students to become the critical thinkers and impassioned writers and readers is what informs my practice the most.
