About Fernanda
Hello! My name is Fernanda Soares Nunes, I have a degree in Portuguese Literature with a degree in Licensing from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Since the beginning of the course, I have been interested in early childhood education and I intend to continue my studies in this area after graduation and therefore I took several courses related to child psychology with an educational bias. In the internships I have already done, I learned a lot about how to teach and learn with children. I worked in a private school as a tutor for 6-year-olds, then I dedicated myself to scientific initiation in the area of linguistic studies in addition to moving through previously unknown areas, such as child psychoanalysis. Later I worked at another private school as a tutor for children aged 9 to 10, helping with schoolwork, exams and homework. I also worked for 3 years at the Itinerante Ponto UFMG Museum, which taught me a lot about human plurality. The itinerant museum is a federal project that focuses on bringing scientific knowledge to children and adolescents, in areas that do not have as much access to that knowledge. In those 3 years, I had an enriching experience! I traveled through several cities in Brazil: in the north of Minas, northeast, south and midwest, and managed to experience the enchantment of children by knowledge and beyond, to observe it as a tool for transformation.
