I am a dual English/History graduate who has worked in business consulting for the past three years. My writing is what often sets me apart, and I enjoy the process of crafting language. My love of writing is one of the things that drives my desire to help others write. I think writing can be transformational in finding your voice and understanding more of how you fit into or conceive of the world.

Hi! I can help you brainstorm, write, and edit essays for any subject! I focus on the process of writing to help you create a product you are proud of.
Essays I have worked with have helped students gain admission to Ivy League law schools, competitive and dual master's programs, and medical schools. I also work in business writing and can help with essays meant for distribution via publications or business outlets. I am comfortable working with people of any discipline and welcome all clients.
A typical session usually takes one hour and includes me reading through your essay and offering feedback specific to your concerns as well as general feedback on things I notice. I tend to focus primarily on clarity (document organization, sentence structure, word choice), with a secondary but diligent focus on grammar/citations/etc. Follow up sessions vary but usually come in two or three parts. One or two sessions follow-up on initial edits and address writer feedback and questions, and a final session addresses grammar editing and minor feedback.
