About Rowan
I am a high school senior at a specialized school for writing. I am one of six National Youngarts Winners for Nonfiction in the country, and have experience writing for and editing magazines. I spent nine years volunteering with elementary and middle school students but I feel comfortable tutoring all the way up to AP Lang, and I welcome opportunities to work with individuals with special needs or challenges.

Even when tutoring in something academic or technical, I approach writing from a creative standpoint. I hope to give students a greater understanding of basic craft elements through subjects and ideas that are engageing to them as individuals.
