About Suzanna
My background is as a fourth grade Reading and Writing teacher, spending sixteen years educating in both public and private schools. I have worked with students of all levels and skill sets. My teaching philosophy is that all students can become proficient and advanced writers through using their five senses, by being exposed to exceptional examples of writing, exploring vocabulary, and tapping into the writers soul in each of us!

I’m a writer, myself, and spend my free time working on my memoir. From the age of ten, I was writing my own version of “Nancy Drew” mysteries, and teaching my stuffed animals! I spent sixteen years teaching fourth graders reading and writing. I believe that everyone can not only become better writers with the right guidance, but also that writing can and should be fun! Teaching writing is a joy for me. I can’t wait to meet you, and meet you exactly where you are at. Lessons will be personalized to your individual needs and goals. We will work as a team to develop your writing skills, one piece at a time!
