About Sarah
I have a lot of experience editing and writing. I’m a journalist by trade, so I write every day. My undergraduate degree is in English and news media, and my master’s is in English, with a focus in composition and rhetoric. I’ve worked for two different writing centers at my alma mater, The University of Alabama, and many chose to come back to me specifically over other tutors for my personable and effective approach. I’ve worked with writers working on any kind of project you can think of — sci-fi short stories, fantasy novels, dissertations, news articles, college essays for law school and med school, personal essays, English 101 papers, high school English essays, lab reports and other scientifically focused work, poetry. You name it, I’ve probably worked with it. I also was a copy editor for about a year for a newspaper. I made sure stories were accurate, grammatically correct, journalistically sound, and well written before publication. In college, I also served as an editor for The Black Warrior Review, which publishes student works of fiction. Your writing is in good hands with me. I’ll work with you to streamline your work, amplify your voice and ideas, and meet all the goals you’re looking to.
