About Cerys Holstege
I graduated from Yale in 2019 am continuing my education with a PhD in biogeochemistry at Harvard. I have a background in journalism and studied English and creative writing during my broad education at Yale.
I have experience teaching at all age levels from my work as a graduate student Teaching Assistant, as a Lead Teaching Assistant in a 5th grade classroom at a free summer school for students who were behind grade-level, and as an SAT tutor at a free test prep program for high schoolers.

I emphasize essay planning and practical skills to strengthen students' writing, and one-on-one book discussions to deepen understanding.
