About Yasmine
I am a student at Queen Mary University of London and I want to tutor because I have personally experienced how difficult it is to find reliable, high-quality teaching. Having worked with over 100 tutors myself, I understand how frustrating it is to waste time and money on teachers who lack confidence or clarity in their subject. I would only ever charge a student if I am fully confident that I could achieve full marks in the exam myself. I graduated high school in 2025, achieving 98% in my A Level Economics paper, and was consistently the person classmates turned to when concepts were unclear in lessons. I am known for giving simple, logical explanations that make difficult ideas easy to understand. My goal as a tutor is to provide the clarity, honesty, and effectiveness that I once looked for as a student.

First, I identify the student’s current level and preferred learning style. Before each lesson, I send a short 5-minute preparation video. During the lesson, the student explains the concept to me, and I build on this using my own structured notes. Students have free access to these notes for efficient revision. After consolidating the content, we complete exam questions in timed conditions and produce model answers. By the end of the year, each student has a colour-coded document covering all possible question types, ensuring they are fully prepared for the exam.
