About Soph
I am Soph, a French woman who has lived in different places in the world - England, Croatia, Spain, Australia, to name a few. I am told to be a soft, open-minded, patient, and hilarious teacher.
This seems to be the acronym of my nickname, how funny is that?
I have been teaching for 10 years, both French and English, I have dabbled with other professions such as translation, but nothing gives me more passion than teaching, and being in direct contact with the students. Helping them and seeing how far they’ve come. Knowing that I’ve been of help and feeling so proud of them! Can’t wait to feel proud of you!

This is how I have been described as teacher, and how I try to make my classes feel. I always want my students to have a good time during the class, while learning French. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t have a good time while learning!
With 10 years of experience in the teaching of languages, both French and English, I believe the best way to learn is through games and fun. Which do not mean we do not take grammar and vocabulary seriously. My training at Sorbonne Uni will not allow me to. I also own a Master’s in French Language, so just know this is serious business!
