About Mohamed
I am a first class MSci physiotherapy graduate, and I love maths and sciences. I love structure, the simpler the system the better! And that's how I achieved the top grades consistently.
I have been tutoring for more than 3 years, having completed over 200 lessons and with plenty of other tutoring and teaching experiences in many companies and settings, as a cover supervisor, a workshop leader, activity leader, and sports coach for young students, I am confident of my quality of teaching and ability to help my students achieve their academic goals.
I love to share value, not just in dry information but in making my students love the subject!

I believe that each student is different, with different abilities, needs, and goals; that is why I and the student will put down a structured system and a plan to reach their full potential and perform their best by the time of their exam. This will include an assessment to decide the areas of strength and those that need improvement. From then we can execute the mutually decided plan and only get better with time. Lessons will generally be structured with explanations, answering exam questions together and explaining what the exam board requires to award the full marks. Each topic has its major points and some tricks which will all be run through in the lesson. Depending on the topic and student the lesson structure will vary to fit their needs best.
My university modules on Learning and Teaching alongside my research project on what makes an effective educator have equipped me with unique skills and value which serves to benefit my students more and more.
I endeavour to help my students not only with their grades but also with their relationship with the subject by making the lessons enjoyable and following a holistic approach to education; this way I give double the value. I also believe in always structuring a plan to reach each target, subject, topic, and question so that we can satisfy the criteria optimally and easily, and that is how I gratefully got the top grades. It is not as hard as it seems once you understand what wins you marks and focus your efforts on that!
Students have told me that they truly enjoy our lessons, which makes them love the subject more and progress with joy! One of the best compliments I've had is when parents tell me their child asks them to book more lessons with me as it shows they feel the value, improvement but also enjoyment from our lesson :)

I was tutored for less than a year and I can’t recommend him enough, I was struggling to get 6s in French in year 10 because I was never taught it before, and after tutoring I learned how to get marks easily and that drastically changed my grade.
