About Beth
I was homeschooled before going into sixth form so I have grown self teaching skills. I studied maths and further maths, physics and music at A level and am a big lover of all three. I am hoping to study maths and physics at university next year :)

The best way to grow good maths skills is through practice. This is why, in my opinion, going through work sheets together is generally the best way for students to grasp topics in both maths and physics. It exposes any weaknesses we need to work on, and builds a secure foundation for the next topic they move on to. I would encourage any student to ask questions when they don't understand instead of just looking at the answer as this is without a doubt far more beneficial to their learning and develops a more mathematical mindset. This is important even in physics as maths is the basis to almost any physics question.
