About Christina
I have been teaching global history at the 9th grade level for 5 years in New York City. I have taught and worked with ages 5-18. I am on my way to 8 years in NYC education. My lessons are aligned with New York State exam standards. I am a self proclaimed history nerd! I received my bachelor's degree in Public Relations from St. John's university and used my elective space for classes in journalism, history and world religion. I then got my masters degree in Media Management where I focused on youth, education and social justice.

Lessons will be engaging, as hands on as possible and full of info. Learning so much a bit quick can feel like a lot but we will always spiral the information so we continue learning key concepts, trends and vocabulary. We will practice maps. analyze documents and watch as history repeats itself !
