About Lucy
I’m in year 13 at school, and have been studying French for seven years therefore I really love and am fascinated by learning the language, through grammar and vocabulary to reading, literature and film. I think it would be something exciting and valuable to be able to share my passions and skills with other students, and I feel as though I would definitely gain some things and learn some things too!

Since I’m still in my last year of school, I am very familiar with the topics studied and required for GCSE, having achieved an A* myself. I also understand the importance of practising all four areas of communication, listening, reading, writing and speaking. Therefore, I would ideally have an equal focus on all in order to develop competency and skills. I also feel as though understanding grammar is very useful, so I would practice grammar exercises. Most of all, it is important that the topics and skills are tailored to the student, so I will try to assess what they need most help in, or what they want to focus on, whilst hopefully making them enjoyable at the same time!
