About Sabrina
One thing to know about me is that I genuinely enjoy helping students understand their school work. In high school, I spent two full years volunteering to tutor students completely for free! Not to mention, I jump at the opportunity to walk my three younger siblings through any learning they're struggling with. Understanding is a large part of what makes learning super fun, so let's work to understand together :)

To help students understand what they are learning in class, I enjoy hearing first about their learning preferences! As a visual learner myself, I gravitate towards writing and drawing concepts. However, I know this is not universal, and I like to adapt my lessons to the students' preferences. As a typical lesson plan, I prefer to receive the homework, classwork topics, or specific questions in advance. This way, I am able to work through the problems first, without interfering with the students' time to learn during the tutoring session. Using this method, I have all necessary materials prepared prior to my one-on-one time with the student. I have the most experience tutoring Algebra I, Algebra II, and Chemistry, but am able to aid students in any math or science from grades 6-10. I look forward to getting to know you and/or your student!
