About Amelia
I am a student (17) who has a passion for maths and sciences and would love to help others in these subjects . I achieved 10 9s at GCSE and an A (highest achievable grade) in FSMQ-additional maths. Over my years in secondary school I have developed my love for problem solving and take part in external challenges like the annual nationwide maths challenge every year which i have always scored highly in or progressed to other rounds. My hobbies surround music and I have taught myself piano and have since taken exams in it without lessons whilst also playing clarinet (Grade 8 standard), singing, and teaching myself guitar.

My teaching method is constantly developing and improving; experience in teaching younger students from my school has helped these skills and I would love to help people externally too now. I approach topics through firstly explanation and the theory behind the idea and then various practice questions some of which I make myself and some taken from various other resources. I refer closely to exam specifications/checklists to ensure all relevant and needed topics are covered and have access to a wide range of past paper questions, online resources and textbooks.
